Collins Owuor is an Energy and climate change professional with over 9 years of experience supporting energy access and climate resilience work across Africa. Before joining EACREEE, Collins's main preoccupation was contributing to the development and deployment of innovative models for clean energy access within underserved markets. Previously, he worked in rural communities capacitating them on climate-resilient agricultural practices, collaboratively developed community climate adaptation plans across 3 counties, and championed the adoption of clean cooking and productive use of renewable energy (PURE) in agriculture.
Collins holds an MSc. Energy Policy from the Pan African University, Institute of Water and Energy Sciences and BSc. Environmental Science from Kenyatta University. He is a registered associate expert with NEMA-Kenya.
