Dr. Mackay OKURE
Eng. Dr. Mackay OKURE assumed office as Interim Executive of EACREEE on 2nd November 2018. Prior to this appointment, he has been working as the Capacity Building and Research and Development Expert at EACREEE and an Associate Professor at the Makerere University College of Engineering, Design, Art and Technology (CEDAT), Department of Mechanical Engineering. He has been instrumental in the establishment of EACREEE.

Eng. Denis Ariho
Eng. Denis Ariho, from Uganda, joined EACREEE on 1st April 2020 as the Lead Technical Expert for the EAC region on Energy Efficient Lighting and Appliances (EELA) Project, seconded by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO). His main role is to coordinate EELA activities in the EAC region.

Fred ISHUGAH, MEIK, MIET, C.E.M.
Mr. Fred Ishugah (Kenya) joined EACREEE on November 1, 2017 as a Sustainable Energy Expert. Prior to joining EACREEE, Mr Ishugah was working as a lecturer at department of Energy Engineering at Kenyatta University.

Mr. Fungai Matura joined EACREEE in February 2020 seconded by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) as a Private Sector Specialist. He role involves facilitating private sector participation in the implementation of the EELA project Energy Efficient Lighting and Appliances project (EELA). Prior to joining EACREE Fungai worked as an Energy Specialist at the World Bank.

Mr. Michael Kiza, from Uganda, joined EACREEE in January 2017 as the Programme Management Expert, seconded by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO). His current role involves designing and implementing programmes in the areas of policy formulation, capacity building and investment promotions on renewable energy and energy efficiency to contribute to universal access to sustainable energy.
