Eng. Godfrey Marambe

Godfrey holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MSc. Degree in Energy Management from the University of Nairobi and is a graduate of the Global Executive Master of Business Administration from USIU-Africa in collaboration with Solbridge International University, South Korea. He is also a registered professional engineer with the Engineer’s Board of Kenya (A3369), a licensed energy auditor Class A, a licensed solar water heating and photovoltaic engineer with the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Commission of Kenya. Among these he is also a Certified Energy Manager (CEM), Certified Measurement and Verification Professional (CMVP), Certified Water Efficiency Professional (CWEP) all by the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE), Carbon Footprint Analyst by IEMA, a Project Management Professional (PMP) by Project Management Institute (PMI), ISO 50001 Energy Management Systems Auditor, and a Green Star SA Accredited Professional on New Buildings (GBCSA). He has also attended various management and corporate governance capacity-building courses.

A trained and experienced professional Mechanical Engineer with experience in the areas of Mechanical and Energy Engineering, he has been involved in more than 100 energy audits, several feasibility studies and several renewable energy projects in the government and private sector. His expertise ranges from construction, building services, renewable energy, energy efficiency, feasibility studies, utilities management and capacity training.

He is currently working with EACREEE as an Energy Expert supporting the European-funded project ENERGICA on Emoblity in the East African region.
